Cadenza
A Cadenza is the part of a musical work where the composer can express herself freely, and that is what I'm doing in this piece. I designed the beautiful curves to fit within my trademark "slipped disc" vessel (click the right arrow on the photos to scroll through other views of this piece). Each curve was painstakingly cut, ground, and fitted to perfection. The vessel sits serenely on a multi-layer base ("Rondo") that I also designed to complement the bowl and hold it securely.
Vessel and base are sold as a unit. No other copies of this unique piece will be made.
